Will's Awesome Game

My big boy is a football player.  He loves every aspect of the game and even the part where he has to sit on the sidelines because they have too many players to play all at once.  This is his time to watch and observe and "coach" the kids not making proper plays.  I had to get onto him yesterday because he was coaching another player.  I said, "Will, that's not your job.  You sit here and watch and let Coach Steven coach." He quieted down, but was not very pleased.  It was hilarious actually!

He loves playing with his best friend.  He would love football rather or not Mason was on his team but it sure does make it better when he gets to block for his friend and watch him score touchdowns and pull flags too.

Owen just stands, rolls, jumps, runs around the sidelines the whole time. He creates a little game of his own with his Spiderman football.  Sometimes he runs onto the field and I have to go catch him but normally he stays with the other siblings and plays his own version of football.

Yesterday, he had to have the football stickers under his eyes just like brother had.  He wanted them removed after 20 minutes of the game because he said they were itchy.  For those 20 minutes though, he was a genuine football player!!

Speaking of football player...my big player shined on Saturday morning.  I was so proud of him.  He got around 6-8 flags from the other team.  I actually lost count.  I am guessing that is about how many he pulled.  He was so happy about pulling them that EVERY time he got one his little arm would shoot up in the air so everyone would know to STOP.  That boy's flag is gone and NO MORE RUNNING!  He was very cute to watch in his element and to excel at something he loves so much.

Kasey was able to catch one of his touchdowns to right up close and personal.  He got two touchdowns at yesterday's came but I missed the first one.  Look at that determination on his face.  Cracks me up!

Then he got to play even more football when we went home to watch our Sooners kill the Longhorns.  He was running plays all afternoon too.  It was a great day and busy day of football at our house.
