My 100 Year Old Man

Will has already been in 1st grade for 100 days.  I can't believe it!  He was super thrilled about getting to dress like a 100 year old man.  I didn't really have clothes that fit into that category for him but I did have make up:)  Boom!  100 year old Will complete with bushy eyebrows, thick mustache, and ear hair.  You have to have ear hair if you are 100 years old!  He got a kick out of it and loved the opportunity to act "old".

I have to include a picture of Will's cousin Jack.  Jack also was celebrating his 100th day of Kindergarten.  His dad made him a walker out of PVC pipe, painted it and stuck some tennis balls on the end.  Boom!  He was a 100 year old man with a walker.  I got a kick out of this one:)

A Few Birthdays

Hello again!  If you have noticed (probably most haven't and that's fine) but I haven't blogged in about 3 weeks.  I hope you have missed me:)  It's hard to blog when 1, 2, or 3 of your family members are puking, with high fever, have both types of Flu strand, ear infections, and allergic reactions to medicines.  That pretty much describes the last half of January and some of February for the Kueny family.  Finally, we are all on the mend and looking forward to MUCH NEEDED warmer weather and better health.

Thankfully, with sickness gone we were able to celebrate two family members birthday's in the month of February.  On the 6th Ava turned 8.  8 Years old?  I almost can't believe it.  My girly girl niece wanted to have a girls only tea party for her birthday lunch.  Awesome!  I love tea, lunch, and girls.  I was thrilled!

Four short days later, on the 10th, my sister had her birthday.  Her birthday was celebrated with a girls lunch at McAllister's.  Her hubby is currently on a short deployment again so my mom and I took her out for lunch and my aunt delivered her favorite pizza for dinner.  I love family time and being able to live close enough to celebrate together.  Happy birthday Ava and Angela!
