Picasso Drives a Power Wheel

My little Picasso at work! He sure does enjoy sidewalk chalk. I wonder if Picasso had that when he was a little one? He creates some wonderful masterpieces. Yesterday he decided to get as dirty as I think I have ever seen him. This picture doesn't really do him justice. He had chalk in his hair, nose, eyes, nose, ears, fingernails, all over his clothes, his shoes, socks, etc. I think you get the picture:)

Nini and Pappy purchased a new Power Wheel vehicle for their house. He was on this thing almost the whole night except for the few minutes we MADE him eat and then the time he spent drawing with chalk. He thought he was pretty cool how he could ride it and be in control. He wanted to take his brother for a spin, so I strapped in my little one and off he went. Owen loved it too!

My little bald eagle looked so cute from behind that we couldn't help but snap a photo:)

Branson Weekend

This weekend we went to Branson for a little mini vacation. This was the first time either boy had been further in the car than Norman. They both did very well and Momma and Daddy were proud of them. We stayed in a super nice house (with some of our friends and their timeshare) right on Tablerock Lake in Branson. Super pretty:) The first day there we rented a boat for a few hours and let the kids fish. They had a blast. When I say they, I mean Will, because Owen pretty much cried himself to sleep and was NOT a fan of the life jacket! See below:

Once he woke up he was in a much better mood and decided that he didn't mind the lake that much! The next night our little family went to see Dixie Stampede. Will got a kick out of this! He was so enthralled with all the animals, singing, and people that he hardly ate his $15 dinner!

Sophia Coco Turns 3!

Happy birthday sweet Sophie! I can't believe it has already been three years since you were born. I remember the day going to the hospital to hold you. You were so tiny and your Momma and Daddy were beyond thrilled. You have continued to be such a joy and your presence is always precious to be around:) We all love you, but your biggest fan is probably Will. He talks about you all the time and loves to play with you!

Sophie invited Will to the Bouncy Barn to jump with her on her birthday. Of course, he excepted the invitation. They had a ton of fun. A ball, if you will:) Owen enjoyed the balls as well. This is pretty much all he could do the whole time. The Bouncy Barn is the perfect place for kids 2-4 years of age. Owen did this most of the time:

Both Will and Sophie enjoyed the Elmo jumper the most. Both of the Momma's liked this one too because it was educational (we can never turn off our teacher brains)! Will loves Elmo...as you can read about in previous posts. Anytime a 3 year old can give Elmo a kiss is a good day:

Don't forget to hug him too:

Overall, the kids had such a great time and I was very thankful that Sophie thought of Will when she could invite a friend:) I enjoyed the time with my friend too, even if most of the time was spent looking after the little ones!!! This is our life right now, so we take the time together when we can get it!

Rubber Ducky Kisses

Every rubber ducky needs a good kiss now and then! Owen loves his bathtime. He even loves it MORE when he gets free reign of the tub and brother is not in there with him stealing all of his toys:) Last night Daddy took Will to Lowes with him to buy some "guy things". Owen was thrilled when I put him in the tub and saw his bro wasn't hogging the water with him! His favorite thing to do right now is to eat Will's toothbrush. Of course he loves this because he is teething so horribly right now. Will DOES NOT allow his brother to "use" this toothbrush, so I had to buy one just for Owen. He doesn't get the concept of brushing but he sure does understand chewing!

Ollie's

Last night we went to Ollie's with some of our good friends. They have a little boy the same age as Will, they both love trains, and my friend Amanda had heard that we had to take our little ones here! Boy, did these boys love it:) Owen really only cared about the mashed potatoes as you can see in the picture! It was funny seeing Owen almost breaking his neck to watch the trains running above his head. He was interested in that!

As soon as we pulled up Will saw the train outside. He crawled into it and of course Momma wanted a picture taken! He had to get in it again on the way out. He and Mason loved crawling around in and on it!

As we were leaving we had Amanda snap an updated picture of us by a railroad crossing sign. I don't even know for sure but I don't think you can even see the sign, but it's there. I realized I hadn't updated our family picture on my blog since around Halloween when we took a picture at the Pumpkin Patch. I am finally doing that now!

To all you mom's out there....if you have boys (or girls) that are interested in trains I would highly recommend you make the drive out to West Tulsa and go to Ollie's. It is worth the drive and the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, all day breakfast, chocolate shakes, cherry vanilla pepsi's, and homemade pies don't make it half bad either:)

Spongebob Attire

My little man is almost 9 months now. I can't believe how the time flies. This post is really just nothing other than to show how cute he is in his new Spongebob pj's. He is such a wonderful baby and so good natured. Still no hair, as you can see. Who knows when his first haircut will actually be?

T-Ball Star

Will...my little T-Baller! When I say little, I mean it. He is the smallest and youngest one on the team. He NEVER gives up though. He plays and tries and might not always hit the ball, catch the ball, or be the best but he gives 100% and as his mom, that makes me very proud of him. Sometimes though, he would rather take a breather and be a normal 3 year old boy. I think he got tired of "fielding" here and decided to pick grass instead. These are all 3 and 4 year olds, some girls, some boys....needless to say he doesn't see too much action out there:) Here are a few more shots I took of his first game.

Did anyone happen to notice how you can't even see his eyes when he is running? Talk about determination to get to that home base!!!

Will also had his very own cheering section at his game this weekend. His Momma, Daddy, Nini, Aunt and Uncle Angela and Joe, and cousins Emma and Ava were there. Ava made a sign for Will and proudly displayed it the whole game. She was so excited to be his little cheerleader while he was batting, outfielding, running, sitting in the dugout....the list goes on and on. She did a great job and I was appreciative of her support for my little one!

Of course, snack time was the biggest highlight of the game. This time the snack was Capri-Sun's to wash down the Chips A Hoy Cookies. Yummy:)

Easter 2010

Happy Easter! Our family had a wonderful Easter. First we went to our awesome church, Church on the Move, on Saturday night. We had the opportunity to be a part of a weekend service that saw 600 people be baptized, 175 kids accept Jesus in kid's church, and have over 17,000 people in attendance. We love our church!

On Sunday we packed the family up and went to Nini and Pappy's house. The kids all hunted eggs, flied kites, rode bikes, ate candy, and messed up their Nini's house totally! I barely caught Will long enough to snap this shot of him showing Owen all the eggs he found. Will was just content to sit and eat grass. I think my little Owen looks like such a man. He looks like a bald, fat, old man (and it is soooo cute!).

The kids had a blast, were in bed by 7:45, and were up in the next morning already asking to go to Nini's house again (this was Will of course)...I can't even get O to crawl yet, let alone speak:) Happy Easter everyone. Hope everyone had a blast with their kiddos and families! Thank you Jesus for saving us!!!!!!!!!
