Seaside, FL

 Seaside, FL.  Ahh....If you have never gone to this city I would include it on your list of activities next time you are in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area.  This place is special.  It is about a 20 minute drive east of Destin.   There are a few beach towns around that drive but our favorites were Seaside and Seagrove.  Both awesome!  So quaint, and little, and perfect in almost every way.  The only thing I didn't enjoy was how they could charge you $5 for ice.  Seriously, a snow cone?  It's ice.  Good ice, but ice nonetheless.  

The boys don't really care for shopping so even though there are tons of cute little botiques and cool shops I only went into 2 or 3.  If we ever go to the beach again (without kids) Steven better watch his wallet because there was so much shopping here that I didn't even get to touch.  

This town is where the movie "The Truman Show" was filmed.  Remember all those perfectly lined streets with white fences, awesome grass, fully matured trees, colorful beach houses?  This city was just that.  Pretty cool to view actually.  

I saw a sign there for some real estate that was for sale in the city.  A house can run for 600,000 all the way up to 6,000,000.  Petty change right?  I can dream....
