Swimming Pool Party

Will finally got to celebrate his birthday party with friends yesterday.  With having a birthday every year on Thanksgiving or give or take a few days, he has learned that he usually gets his actual party the first week of December.  He wanted a swimming party this year.  Bummer that we don't live in the Southern Hemisphere because that would have totally worked for a pool party in December.  I began to call around only to find how incredibly expensive pool party's are.  I finally found this place (The Boys and Girls Club of Broken Arrow) for a very reasonable price.  All the kids loved swimming, the play room, the bunnies, and the football donuts Will had for his dessert.  Swimming pool party with all football accessory's.  Strange, but right up Will's alley.

I was proud of Will for jumping right in the pool (with no floatation devices), swimming unassisted, and jumping off the springboard all by himself.  He has come a long way in one year of swimming and I was excited for him that he had no fear and just took off even after not being in water since this summer.  His friends Mason and Logan are little fish too when it comes to water so that worked out perfectly for them:)

You can see the cute football donuts in this picture (Mason is holding his).  I ordered these from OK County Donuts in Tulsa at 81/Yale.  This place was amazing and had all types of really cool donut colors and shapes they could do for your special occasion.  It was $25 for 2 dozen which I thought was a pretty good deal.  They went over well with the kids and even the girls chowed them down and didn't complain that they were too "boy".

Of course, the only picture I could take of Owen was him sitting and eating. Go figure....

Happy birthday party day to Will.  He told me last night for his 7th birthday who was on his invite list, what the activities were to be, and where he wanted the party to be held.  Let me give you one hint....it included football!
