The Story of Christmas

Every Christmas our church, Church on the Move, puts on an amazing Christmas celebration for its members, family, friends, and anyone who wants to stand an hour in line to get in the doors.  Steven was our go to guy this year and got there an hour and fifteen minutes early to be the first in the line.  Thanks honey!  Will went last year for the first time (you have to be a minimum of five years old to come inside).  He liked it last year.  I think he loved it this year.  As he gets older he is not afraid so much of the loud sounds, dark lights, and music.  Not that he was scared last year but he had only been five for one month and I think it still might have been a tad too much for him.  Not this year.  He was up on his knees or having Daddy or I hold him the entire time to get a better view.

His favorite part was the candles. He sat in anticipation for the candle flame to get to him.  He couldn't wait.  His eyes were huge and he was as still and quiet as a church mouse waiting for the candle to get to him.  I loved watching the magic of Christmas through his eyes.  I do have to admit it was pretty beautiful to watch the whole church light up in flames.  That sounded bad, but I think you knew what I meant:)  This picture doesn't really do it justice for how pretty it was, but it gives you a general idea of what one side of the building looked like!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
