Happy Halloween

This Halloween we went trick or treating with some friends and about 1000 other friends, residents, and neighbors of our neighborhood.  This neighborhood comes complete with a way too scary for little kids cemetary, houses with fog machines, and phones that ring in their driveway (the kid picks up and it's dead air meant to scare you).  Our neighborhood goes all out!

Owen wanted to go as Spiderman.  He got all decked out in his outfit and out the door he went.  Only to be met by his friend Dylan who also wanted to go as Spiderman.  You will note Owen (on the left) is taller that his little buddy who is a whole year older than him.  Yikes.  I think my "baby" is gonna be a tall man one day!!

Of course, Will had to go as a football player.  These two costumes this year were pretty much a dead giveaway as they are the two things that are most important in each of their lives right now.  We don't own a helmet and I was unsuccessful in trying to borrow one, but Will could have cared less. In fact, it would have probably ended up being just one more thing I had to carry around all night once he decided he didn't want to wear it anymore.  I was already carrying Owen's mask about 5 houses in.

All in all, it was a great night with good friends and family and beautiful weather.  We couldn't have asked for anything more.  Except maybe another couple of toothbrushes.  Too much candy!!!!!!!!!!
