I'm Proud of my Son

Last night Will and Owen got to enjoy some Halloween candy from their bags of goodies they collected last week.  Last night's choice was apple Fun Dip.  Oh what fun that was!  They loved it but of course Owen ate his stick before he realized he wasn't supposed to and had to finish the Fun Dip with his fingers.  Oops.  Good thing I cleaned Will off good and sparkly because the next morning he had to be all stylin' for his first reward as a Kindergartener.  He didn't know he was getting an award this morning.  It was all a suprise to him!

There are over 300 Kindergartener's in his school.  Probably closer to 330 and 36 kids got the award this morning.  I was so very proud of him.  He didn't know he was getting anything.  He thought I was just there to watch his class sing a few songs.  Once they started calling names out...naturally the teacher in charge pronounced his name wrong.  Sorry honey, get used to it.  It has happened to Momma my ENTIRE life.  First with Fournier and now with Kueny.  No one ever gets it right.  Anyways, they said Will (Queen-E).  He had no idea they were even talking about him so a teacher had to nudge him.  Funny!

Thank you to Miss Armstrong for being a wonderfully gifted teacher to Will and the other 25 kiddos in his class.  I don't know how she does 26 Kindergartener's all by herself every day, but she does and we are thankful for her.  Great job Will.  Momma is so very proud of you everyday but even more on these days when everyone around you at school sees what I see on a daily basis.  Way to go!
